Additional Services

Your solar system requires ongoing maintenance to maximize production. We provide additional services to maintain, upgrade, and enhance your solar system:

Pest Exclusions

Birds and small animals often nest beneath solar panels and along rooflines, creating debris buildup, moisture issues, and long-term roof damage. Left unaddressed, infestations can lead to clogged gutters, wiring damage, and costly cleanups. Our pest exclusion systems are designed to permanently block access points while protecting your roof and solar installation. The result is a cleaner system, reduced risk, and long-term protection.

Solar Panel Cleaning

Dust, pollen, bird droppings, and mineral buildup reduce solar production and can cause long-term surface damage if ignored. In Utah’s dry climate, panels rarely rinse clean on their own. Professional cleaning maintains peak performance, prevents staining and hot spots, and helps extend the lifespan of your system.

Solar Attic Fans

If your upstairs rooms are hard to cool and your AC runs constantly in the summer, the issue may be your attic. In Utah’s climate, attic temperatures can reach 125–140 degrees, creating trapped heat that puts constant strain on your HVAC system. A solar attic fan actively removes excess heat, improving ventilation and reducing the load on your air conditioning. Properly installed, it helps create a more balanced home, lower energy strain, and long-term roof protection.

Snow Guards

Heavy snow can slide off steep roofs in large, dangerous sheets, damaging gutters, vehicles, and landscaping. Sudden snow release can also create serious safety hazards near entryways and walkways. Snow guards control how snow melts and releases, preventing dangerous roof avalanches and protecting your home throughout the winter.

EV Chargers

There are three main types of EV chargers, known as Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 (DC Fast Chargers). For residential use, Level 1 and Level 2 chargers are most relevant.

Level 1 Chargers

These chargers use a standard 120-volt household outlet.

They do not require any special installation.

Charging with a Level 1 charger is slow, typically adding about 3-5 miles of range per hour.

This type is suitable for plug-in hybrid vehicles or for EV owners with short daily commutes.

Level 2 Chargers

These chargers use a 240-volt outlet, similar to what you would use for a dryer or oven.

They require professional installation to ensure they meet electrical codes and safety standards.

Level 2 chargers are significantly faster, adding about 20-60 miles of range per hour.

They are ideal for fully electric vehicles and for homeowners who need quicker charging times.

02

For Commercial Use

Direct Current (DC) fast chargers, are a type of EV charging station that provide rapid charging by supplying direct current electricity directly to the battery of an electric vehicle.

This method bypasses the vehicle’s onboard charger, which is typically used in slower, alternating current (AC) charging.

DC fast chargers can charge an EV battery to 80% in about 20-40 minutes, depending on the battery capacity and the power output of the charger.
