Harness the Power of the Sun

It lowers monthly utility costs, protects you from rising energy rates, and increases property value.

As more homeowners invest in solar installation Utah solutions, they are gaining greater energy independence while reducing long-term energy expenses.

Beyond financial benefits, solar reduces your reliance on fossil fuels and lowers your home’s environmental impact year after year.

At Sun Elevated, we approach solar differently. We understand both the electrical system and the roofing system it sits on. That means your home solar installation is designed not only for maximum energy production.

As experienced solar installers in Utah, we provide customized solutions designed to meet your current and future energy needs.

Our New Solar System Installation Process

Site Assessment

The first step in the solar installation process is a site assessment.  Our team at Sun Elevated will help coordinate that on your behalf. Our installation teams will evaluate your roof’s condition, orientation, and shading to determine its suitability for solar panels.

01

System Design

Based on the assessment, a finalized, custom solar system is designed by our Sun Elevated team to meet your energy needs and maximize efficiency. This includes selecting the appropriate type and number of solar panels, inverters, and other system components for your home solar installation.

02

Permits and Approvals

Solar panel installations require permits and must comply with local building codes and regulations as well

03

Installation

The actual installation process involves mounting the panels on your roof, connecting them to the inverter, and integrating the system with your home’s electrical panel. This is typically completed in one day, depending on the complexity and size of the system. Our Sun Elevated team will coordinate your rooftop solar installation and ensure it goes smoothly.

04

Inspection and Activation

Once installed, the system is inspected by your local city authorities to ensure it meets all safety and code requirements. After passing city inspection, the system is approved by your utility to be activated, and you can start generating your own solar power.

05

Permits and Approvals

Solar installations require permits and must comply with local building codes and regulations as well as approval with your utility company. WMS Energy and our team of installers will handle all of the as approval from your utility company. Sun Elevated and our team of installers will handle all permit paperwork and applications with your local utility provider to obtain the necessary approvals.

Need More Power? Consider Adding More Panels to Your Current System

A solar panel expansion or solar system upgrade can help ensure your system keeps pace with your changing energy needs while maximizing the value of your original investment.

Thinking about adding more solar panels to your existing system? You’re not alone. Maybe you added a hot tub, bought an EV, installed a pool, or moved into a home where the existing system doesn’t fully cover your usage. Sometimes systems just weren’t sized right from the start — and that leftover electric bill is proof.

Expanding your solar system doesn’t have to be complicated. With the right experts, it’s a smooth process.

At Sun Elevated, we’ll help you review your current setup, confirm what’s needed, and guide you on the best next steps.

Is Your Solar System Actually Performing?

Before adding more panels, let’s make sure your current system is working properly. Many homeowners think they need an expansion — but often, the real issue is underperformance.

We’ll review your monitoring app, check system output, and make sure everything is running as it should. No monitoring set up? We can handle that too.

Utility companies like Rocky Mountain Power may adjust your net metering rates if you go above a 10kW system, so it’s important to work with a trusted solar contractor Utah homeowners can rely on. Our team has worked with almost every utility company and city in Utah and will always go through the details around every possible decision.

Warranty & Maintenance

We have been in business for over seven years, and we are building for decades ahead. That stability matters when it comes to warranties. We stand behind our workmanship because we plan to be here to support it.

Our solar installations include full manufacturer warranties and workmanship coverage. Solar panels carry 25-year performance warranties, and inverters or micro-inverters typically include 10-25-year manufacturer warranties, depending on the system.

Beyond installation, our team provides ongoing solar maintenance and system support. From routine inspections to long-term care plans, we help protect performance and extend the life of your system well beyond the day it’s installed. As trusted solar installers in Utah, we remain committed to helping homeowners maximize the long-term value of their solar investment.
